American telecommunication program operated by Loral Skynet after being AT&T Skynet

Skynet was sold to Loral in 1997 so the operator will become Loral Skynet. The deal was fixed at $478.1 million

In 2004, Loral Skynet sold some satellites to Intelsat, they were renamed Intelsat Americas (IA).

In 2007 Loral Space and Communications (parent of Loral Skynet) and PSP investments acquired Telesat for CAD $3.25 billion and Telesat Canada merged with Loral Skynet and assets were transfered to Telesat.
