In Feb 2000 it was announced that funding problems and the failure of a circuit board delayed the launch.
In Jan 2001, short after launch, Israel's Ministry of Defense announced they bought the exclusive rights to all commercial imaging of Israel and territories in a radius of 2000 km. The deal is worth $15 million.
