Eutelsat W2A
Renamed Eutelsat 10A in 2012
Tested at 1.7°E. Entered service on 19 May 2009. Went inclined in Jul
2023.
During in-orbit tests, underperformance was detected on the S-band payload,
maybe related to the antenna. An insurance claimed was filled for the full
value of the payload. Solaris Mobile hopes to be able to fullfill the licence
requirement (to keep the S-band spectrum).
