Since Jul 1996 the satellite seems without stabilization. It is constantly drifting and from time to time, its orbit is adjusted.
In June 1999 we learn the satellite is now loaned to Peacesat (PanPacific Education and Communications Experiment by Satellite). Previously Peacesat used Goes 2 and Goes 3
